The successful candidate should be able to provide quality care in a safe and comfortable environment.ResponsibilitiesAssess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical recordsAdminister medications to patients and monitor their effectsOperate medical equipment, such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), and report any abnormalities to the physicianConsult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plansDirect or supervise less skilled nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unitObserve the patient's condition, measure vital signs, such as temperature, pulse rate, blood pressure, weight, height etc.Provide emotional support to the patient/family members as neededQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Registered Nurse (RN) license from the applicable country/region.Previous experience working with patients preferred.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.We are willing to consider a foreigner for this position; however the successful applicant must have valid work authorization in Umm-al-Qaiwain.
