A Night Auditor maintains the professional financial standards of the hotel by managing end-of-day reports ensuring accuracy and reporting anomalies.What will I be doingAs Night Auditor you will maintain the professional financial standards of the hotel by managing end-of-day reports ensuring accuracy and reporting anomalies. A Night Auditor must perform the following tasks to the highest standards As a Night Auditor you are responsible to conduct night audits and prepare summaries of rebates paid outs and daily revenue report whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:Read Night Auditors Logbook for any instructions from the Income AuditorVerify approvals for complimentary rooms late checkouts with no charges and day use room chargesPrint business call journal and ensure that all long distance calls and faxes are supported with Business Calls Authorization voucherVerify guest ledger charges from concessionaires with their summaryVerify room rate variance report post room and tax for the dayPrint Revenue Report today Gross and Budget and split service charge and tax for room revenuePrint reports and tally with supporting vouchers e.g. visa income charges miscellaneous income etc.Export POS revenue to the ONQ data and run pre-audit back upRun file maintenance and prepare daily revenue reportEnsure the maintenance of professional financial standards throughout the hotelUndertake a review of end-of-day takings against logged reportsEdit all reports to ensure accuracy and full completionInvestigate any anomalies found between daily reports and takingsTrain the Night Team in ensuring the accurate completion of systems and processesAssist the Night Manager in emergency situationsWhat are we looking forNight Auditors serving Hilton brands are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
