Job Description As a National Key Account Manager at PerkinElmer, you will play a crucial role in managing key national accounts by developing strong relationships, driving sales revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include: - **Account Management** - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts at the CXO level. - Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by meeting the needs and expectations of key clients. - Create detailed strategic account plans focusing on long-term growth and profitability. - **Sales and Revenue Generation** - Achieve or exceed sales targets set for designated national key accounts. - Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to grow revenue. - Provide accurate sales forecasts for the accounts under management. - **Negotiation and Contract Management** - Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with terms. - Develop pricing strategies in collaboration with the marketing and product teams. - **Collaboration and Communication** - Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, customer support, and product development. - Coordinate with the sales team to implement account strategies and support day-to-day operations. - Provide regular reports on account performance and sales activities to senior management. - **Market Intelligence and Strategy** - Monitor market trends and competitors to develop strategies. - Develop tailored solutions for clients and collect feedback for continuous improvement. - **Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution** - Address and resolve any client issues promptly. - Proactively manage solutions to potential issues or risks. - **Financial Management** - Ensure profitable account management. - Track expenses to maintain profitability. - **New Business Development** - Seek out new business opportunities. - Lead the creation of proposals and presentations to win new business. - **Customer Service Excellence** - Work with customer service teams for seamless delivery. - Provide ongoing support after sales to ensure satisfaction. - **Travel and On-Site Visits** - Regularly travel to meet clients in person. **Key Skills & Qualifications:** - In-depth sales expertise and key account management knowledge. - Strong negotiation and analytical skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Deep industry knowledge and problem-solving abilities. - Leadership capacity to lead internal teams. **Basic Qualifications:** - Education: Any graduate/post-graduate preferably Science. - 10-12 years of experience in key account management or sales. - Proven track record of managing large accounts and driving revenue growth. **Preferred Characteristics:** - Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. - Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. - Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools.
