<div><h3>Description</h3><p>In this role, you will deliver structured music‑based therapy for children aged 2 - 18 with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, communication or sensory challenges, emotional needs, and behavioral concerns. Using music as a therapeutic tool, you will support attention, participation, communication, emotional regulation, confidence, and social engagement. You will work within a multidisciplinary pediatric team, ensuring interventions align with each child’s overall developmental goals.</p><h3>Role&Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Conduct individual and group music therapy sessions</li><li>Work effectively with children presenting with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, social challenges, sensory needs, emotional dysregulation, and behavioral difficulties.</li><li>Assess each child’s developmental profile, communication level, sensory response, emotional needs, and therapeutic goals in relation to music‑based intervention.</li><li>Plan and deliver individualized and group music therapy sessions tailored to children aged 2 - 18.</li><li>Use music therapeutically to target communication, emotional expression, regulation, confidence, attention, interaction, turn‑taking, and participation.</li><li>Develop therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs and goals</li><li>Monitor, document, and evaluate the child’s progress and therapy outcomes</li><li>Integrate music‑based interventions into broader therapy programs</li><li>Collaborate with therapists, educators, and families to maximize impact</li><li>Stay updated on best practices, research, and regulations in music therapy</li></ul><h3>Skills&Competencies</h3><ul><li>Able to design and deliver individualized sessions</li><li>Skilled in music therapy techniques for children</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Experience in child development or behavioral/emotional therapy</li><li>Creative in using music to engage and motivate children</li><li>Able to document progress and measure outcomes</li></ul><h3>Education&Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or higher in Music Therapy, or a related field</li><li>Formal music therapy training and hands‑on experience in child development, pediatric mental health, neurodevelopmental care, or special needs intervention.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with children aged 2 -18, preferably in the UAE.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
