MPD Field Engineer

We are seeking an experienced MPD Field Engineer to support and execute Managed Pressure Drilling operations across onshore and offshore projects in Qatar. The role ensures safe, efficient MPD system deployment, real‑time operational control, and seamless coordination with drilling and well engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, operate, and maintain MPD equipment including choke manifolds, RCDs, automated pressure control systems, and data acquisition interfaces.Monitor and manage bottom‑hole pressure in real time, ensuring drilling parameters remain within operational envelopes.Assist in preparing MPD programs, hydraulic simulations, and risk assessments.Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and software issues to maintain system integrity and minimize downtime.Coordinate with drilling supervisors, directional drilling, mud, and well engineering teams throughout operations.Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, MPD procedures, and client requirements.Requirements5+ years of MPD or Underbalanced Drilling (UBD) field experience, including hands‑on work with automated MPD systems.Strong technical understanding of wellbore hydraulics, pressure control, and drilling operations.Experience with leading MPD systems is preferred.Ability to interpret real‑time data and respond quickly during dynamic well conditions.Strong HSE mindset and ability to work in remote and offshore environments.Previous Qatar or GCC operational experience is an advantage.Let op: vacaturefraudeHelaas komt vacaturefraude steeds vaker voor.
