Job Description Role Overview: You will be joining as a Monitoring and Observability Engineer in a dynamic team. Your main responsibility will be developing the monitoring and observability system for 33,000 devices. You should have a passion for software development, creative problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to designing, developing, and scaling the monitoring and observability platform based on Prometheus. - Develop Grafana dashboards using Prometheus metrics. - Utilize Python (Flask) for internal alerting system development. - Ensure maintenance of quality and security standards. - Follow CI/CD pipeline and deployment procedures. - Stay updated on industry practices and tools, providing recommendations to leadership. - Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance operational visibility and system reliability. Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Grafana & LogQL. - Proficiency in Prometheus & Promql. - Ability to write and maintain playbooks. - Experience in Linux environments. - Familiarity with change management in a corporate environment (GIT). - Strong troubleshooting skills with proven problem-solving abilities. Desired Qualifications: - Strong background in Python development with frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, etc. - Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management. - Knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD tooling. - Exposure to large-scale monitoring environments with tens of thousands of devices.
