MOM Engineer

<div><h3>Short Description</h3><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>Provide functional and technical support for IT manufacturing applications. The employee will be responsible to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of IT MOM applications in order to enable safe and efficient plant operation.</p><h3>Functional Duties</h3><ul><li>Handle support tickets escalated from first-line support and identify the root cause of problem areas within the applications and resolve them for proper operations.</li><li>Work with cross functional team including Process Automation, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Corporate Applications for optimization of systems to meet business integration requirements.</li><li>Work with other entities within IT and external service providers/vendors to ensure reliable systems operation with the latest system patches.</li><li>As required, monitor application and service performance to diagnose defects, weaknesses, or failures.</li><li>Design and deploy new solutions and implement enhancements to existing systems&applications.</li><li>Perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.</li><li>Create and maintain documentation related to systems implementation, configuration, operation and support.</li><li>Provide technical training to system users.</li><li>Train and mentor newly hired peers by sharing technical&process knowledge&expertise.</li><li>Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.</li><li>Adhere to policies&procedures and security&safety regulations.</li></ul><h3>Managerial Duties</h3><p>N/A</p><h3>Education</h3><p><b>Essential:</b>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration or any related field.</p><h3>Certification</h3><p><b>Preference:</b>IT Professional Certification, Project Management, Leadership Certificates.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
