About the RoleWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on on‑premises infrastructure to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across systems and networks. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with infrastructure management, networking, and security, and is comfortable working in complex on‑prem environments.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure ManagementManage and maintain on‑premises IT infrastructure (servers, storage, and networking equipment)Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliabilityPerform regular updates, patches, and system maintenanceNetwork & ConnectivityDesign, implement, and manage network configurations (LAN, WAN, VPN)Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and performance issuesMonitor and optimize network traffic and performanceFirewall & SecurityConfigure, manage, and monitor firewallsManage port configurations and secure internal/external communicationImplement and maintain security protocols and best practicesConduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessmentsSystem AdministrationManage user accounts, permissions, and access controlPerform backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrityMaintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and processesCollaboration & SupportCollaborate with IT teams on ongoing projects and initiativesProvide technical support to internal users and teamsSupport planning and implementation of infrastructure upgradesEducationBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)ExperienceProven experience managing on‑premises IT infrastructureStrong experience with firewalls, network security, and port configurationsHands‑on experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networksExperience with server administration and virtualization technologiesSkillsStrong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilitiesSolid understanding of security protocols and best practicesAbility to work independently and within a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasksNice to Have CertificationsCCNACompTIA Network+CISSP#J-18808-Ljbffr
