With a focus on hyperpersonalization, enterprise-grade systems and AI-powered analytics, Pulse iD delivers innovative and scalable platforms for customer engagement and retention.About the RoleThe Merchant Sourcing Associate plays a critical role in the success of Pulse iD's Marketplace, responsible for sourcing and onboarding merchants that provide benefits, curated offers, perks, and discounts across key categories such as F&B, retail, wellness, lifestyle, and more, ensuring a diverse and high-value marketplace. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong long-term merchant partnerships to drive seamless loyalty initiatives and maximize value delivery. Their efforts will support the needs of end clients in industries such as Financial Services, Telecommunications, Aviation and beyond, ensuring strategic alignment with sector-specific engagement goals and loyalty objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and interpret client requirements to ensure merchant sourcing efforts are aligned with their goals, KPIs and engagement objectives.Build, maintain and expand a target merchant list by researching and categorizing merchants into relevant sectors such as F&B, retail, wellness and lifestyle.Validate and verify merchant information including contact details, locations and existing offers to ensure database accuracy, completeness and reliability.Conduct proactive outreach to merchants via email, phone calls and in-person meetings to present Pulse iD's value proposition and secure their participation.Negotiate terms and conditions with merchants, complete NDAs and finalize merchant agreements to ensure smooth and timely onboarding.Ensure all merchant data complies with Pulse iD's standards and implement continuous enrichment and updates to maintain a high-quality database.Monitor market trends, offer structures and competitor practices to identify opportunities for innovative sourcing strategies and partnership models.Identify and recommend high-value merchants for inclusion in targeted campaigns leveraging insights to support strategic priorities and client objectives.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience or exposure in merchant sourcing or acquisition, preferably within fintech or loyalty domains.Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.General Skills & CompetenciesAt least 2 years of experience in merchant acquisition, sales, or a related role.Based in UAE with knowledge of trending discounts on popular apps and loyalty programs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools.Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with merchants and stakeholders.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.This is a UAE-based hybrid role requiring a mix of remote and in-person work.
