The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all merchandise is appropriately stocked and managed in order to meet customer needs. The Merchandiser will work closely with other departments to ensure maximum sales efficiency and profitability.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. They must also be able to think creatively and apply problem solving techniques when necessary.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping relationships with suppliers, retailers, and customersMonitoring inventory levels and stock availabilityEnsuring timely delivery of merchandise according to customer requirementsNegotiating prices with suppliers while managing stock costsUnderstanding customer requirements in order to maximize sales opportunitiesImplementing strategies that promote the growth of the businessEngaging in promotional activities such as product launches, store openings, etc.RequirementsProven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role within the retail industryGood knowledge of retail metricsAbility to think strategically and analyze dataExcellent communication skillsA positive attitude and excellent problem solving skillsWe offer a competitive salary of 1000 for this position.
