Indian Merchandiser (Contract)We are seeking a talented and driven Indian Merchandiser to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to increase product sales and profitability.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement merchandising plans that align with company goals and objectives- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to develop effective product campaigns- Conduct research on consumer behavior and preferences to inform merchandising decisions- Create visual displays that attract customers and showcase products effectively- Analyze sales data to track product performance and identify areas for improvement- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in merchandisingRequirements:- Indian nationality preferred- Proven experience in merchandising or related field is a plus- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data effectively- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines- Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the UAE region is an advantage- Willingness to work on a contract basis without prior experience- Valid visa for working in Abu Dhabi- Willingness to travel within the UAE as neededIf you are passionate about merchandising, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love for you to join our team.
