MEP ENGINEER, PROCUREMENT

<div><h3>Key Accountability Areas</h3><ul><li>Review technical specifications, BOQs, and drawings to identify material requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.</li><li>Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors based on price, quality, delivery time, and compliance with project requirements.</li><li>Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate commercial and technical terms with suppliers.</li><li>Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring accuracy of terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align material deliveries with project schedules.</li><li>Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to delays, quality, or documentation.</li><li>Maintain vendor records and all procurement-related documentation.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, project-specific requirements, and local/international procurement regulations.</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure long-term value and reliability.</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities, suggest alternative materials or sources, and support value engineering initiatives.</li></ul><h3>Role Accountability</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or related field.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience in construction or contracting companies.</li><li>Strong understanding of construction materials, specifications, and project cycles.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficient in procurement software (ERP systems such as SAP, etc.).</li><li>Knowledge of local and international markets and vendors.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.</li></ul><h3>Academic Qualification</h3><p>Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
