Job Description As a Medical Writer and Research Analyst at DAVA Oncology, a fast-growing oncology-focused consulting company based in Dallas, Texas, you will be working remotely from India in the U.S. time zones, which will require evening and night shifts. Your role will involve a variety of tasks related to clinical trial research, drug publication research, and oncology conference meeting reviews, making previous experience in the oncology therapeutic area highly desirable. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct secondary research and gather information from internet sources, organizing it into coherent content. - Analyze and interpret proprietary data to create a compelling scientific narrative. - Write, edit, and proofread protocols, reports, and publications related to oncology. - Maintain a deep scientific understanding of oncology or quickly acquire such knowledge. - Prepare materials for major cancer conferences and internal oncology meetings. **Qualifications:** - Preferably minimum 1 year of experience in oncology-focused research or writing; experience in publication planning is a bonus. - Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, immunology, molecular biology, biotechnology, Pharm.D., or related fields. - Consideration for M.S. degree holders in the mentioned fields with exceptional experience. - Preferably have authorship in prestigious, peer-reviewed journals. - Experience in planning, writing, and reviewing study designs, protocols, data analysis, study reports, and regulatory documents is advantageous. - Previous industry experience in pharmaceutical companies, CROs, etc., is highly desirable. **Skills & Proficiencies:** - Availability to work during U.S. business hours, which includes evening and night shifts in India. - Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. - Capable of working independently and collaboratively on multiple projects with strict deadlines. - Self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive self-starter.
