Media&Communications Director

<div><p>Expiry date: 31 Mar 2026</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Political Science, or related fields</li><li>Postgraduate qualifications are preferred.</li><li>Relevant experience in media, communications, or development sector (preferred at managerial level)</li><li>Minimum Experience 15 years for Bachelor degrees, or 8 years’ experience for Master degree.</li></ul><h3>Media&Communications</h3><ul><li>Develop and implement the annual media strategy aligned with organizational objectives</li><li>Gather and coordinate information from internal departments to highlight programs, initiatives, and achievements</li><li>Produce and publish media content, including newsletters, publications, and promotional materials</li><li>Monitor media coverage and prepare appropriate responses when needed</li><li>Lead the media documentation of AGFUND’s milestones and achievements</li><li>Manage public relations activities and represent AGFUND across events and external engagements</li><li>Support in drafting speeches, press releases, and official statements</li><li>Prepare the annual report showcasing AGFUND’s projects and impact</li></ul><h3>Award Management</h3><ul><li>Develop and execute the annual plan for Prize Awards ceremony.</li><li>Promote award themes and attract high-quality submissions</li><li>Manage outreach, nominations, and initial screening of applications</li><li>Coordinate with judging panels and oversee evaluation processes</li><li>Organize award committee meetings and document decisions</li><li>Lead the preparation and execution of the award ceremony</li><li>Coordinate with internal teams to transition winning projects into implementation opportunities</li></ul><h3>Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong knowledge of media relations and communication strategies</li><li>Established network within media and communication sectors</li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills</li><li>Proven ability to plan and execute communication campaigns</li><li>Proficiency in computer applications and digital tools</li><li>Fluency in Arabic and English (additional languages are a plus)</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
