MECHICAL TECHNICIAN

Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, compressors, fans, blowers, and piping systems.Perform routine preventive maintenance and ensure proper operation of mechanical systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and breakdowns.Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.Conduct alignment of pumps, motors, and rotating equipment.Maintain lubrication schedules and ensure equipment reliability.Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.Adhere to safety procedures and company policies during all maintenance activities.Support other maintenance teams (electrical/plumbing) when required.Tools and Equipment: Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and testing instruments.Technical CompetenciesMechanical troubleshootingTechnical proficiencySafety awarenessTime managementTeamworkQualifications, Experience and SkillsDiploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.2–4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and HVAC basics.Ability to use mechanical tools, measuring instruments, and alignment tools.Good understanding of safety standards and maintenance procedures.Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
