OverviewJob Title: Mechanical Technician (Support)Location: Offshore (UAE)Contract Type: Contract HireSalary & BenefitsSalary: AED 3,500 (non-negotiable)Round-trip economy class air ticketSingle status accommodation providedFood provided by the companyHealth insurance providedWorking HoursOffshore: 06:30 – 18:30 (1-hour break)Leave cycle: 150/30QualificationsDiploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentExperienceMinimum 5 years experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating equipmentExperience in refinery or petrochemical industriesJob Description & ResponsibilitiesHands-on experience in replacement of main bearings, connecting rod bearings, cylinder valves, piston rings, rider rings, piston rods, lube oil pumps, and other mechanical componentsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manualsPerform corrective maintenance for compressor malfunctionsConduct shaft alignments, lubrication, sealing, and inspection of reciprocating gas compressor componentsPrepare tools, materials, and spare parts as per maintenance schedulesMaintain accurate commissioning reports, maintenance records, and documentation of all activitiesTroubleshoot and diagnose issues related to compressor package performance, efficiency, and reliabilityParticipate in major overhauls, preventive maintenance, and repair tasks of reciprocating gas compressorsUse diagnostic tools and instruments such as vibration analyzers and pressure gaugesFollow safety protocols, hazard analysis techniques, and ensure a safe working environmentPerform maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards (API, ASME, etc.)Additional RequirementsHands-on experience in overhauling, repairing, and troubleshooting reciprocating compressors and auxiliariesCapable of performing breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasksPhysically fit to work in confined spaces and lift tools and partsSkills & CompetenciesExcellent communication with team members, supervisors, and other departmentsProficiency in PC tools, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access)Strong hands-on experience with reciprocating gas compressors and their maintenance procedures#J-18808-Ljbffr
