MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Primary Purpose of the JobParticipates in the skilled mechanical maintenance activities of rotating and stationary equipment/ process plant machineries of the assigned areas. i.e.-Gas distribution systems (GDS) or Tank farm/Terminal/NGCF Areas. This includes execution of preventive, corrective, breakdown & inspection related mechanical maintenance jobs on equipment/machineries like Oil/Condensate export Pumps, marine loading arms, diesel engines, crude and condensate storage tanks, crude & condensate loading terminal equipment including Oil fiscal metering systems, Prover loops, pipe lines/valves/related accessories, compressors, pumps, fin-fans, heat exchangers/coolers, water storage tanks, vessels, fire protection systems/foam systems. Also executes minor pipe fabrication/fitting jobs. Carries out work in accordance with Corporation and applicable industry standards.Required Experience and Skills4 Years experience in the maintenance of compressors, pumps, and associated equipment.Good knowledge of spoken and written English. Good knowledge in Computer.Educational QualificationsCompletion of secondary (12 years) education, followed by 3 years formal full-time education (equivalent to Diploma) to HND level or equivalent.#J-18808-Ljbffr
