Mechanical Technician Nuclear

Summary:Mechanical Technician will execute critical maintenance activities during refuelling outages at a nuclear power plant ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities and Knowledge:Manual Operated Valves - globe valves gate valves butterfly valves pressure safety / relief valves check valves. Overhaul replace packing and lapping;and/or: Flange management; bolting / torquing;and/or: Centrifugal pumps motor-pump alignment;and/or: Lubrication and bearing replacement.Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on various mechanical systemsCarry out critical component replacements and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal system performance and safety.Qualifications : Minimum of 3 years in mechanical maintenance - preferably at a nuclear power plant.Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Contract Key Skills Mechanic Experience,Hand Tools,Industrial Equipment,Industrial Maintenance,Machining,Mechanical Knowledge,Assembly Experience,Precision Measuring Instruments,Schematics,Maintenance,Programmable Logic Controllers,Troubleshooting Experience: years Vacancy: 1
