Our legacy as a munitions pioneer is built on advanced engineering, rigorous quality standards, and a commitment to delivering reliable, mission-ready solutions.Role: Mechanical SupervisorAs the Mechanical Supervisor at LAHAB, you will be responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company to meet organizational strategy and goals.Key Functional ResponsibilitiesAttend and troubleshoot in case of critical breakdowns in machineries and equipment and supervise the operators handling the conventional machines at tool room & Fabrication workshopMonitor and control the usage of inventories/spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment and initiates reordering when necessaryPerform other tasks and duties as allocated by a department Manager or SuperiorEnsure and adhere to safe work practices and procedures including, but not limited to, lockout/tag out and confined space rules and regulationsReview the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtimeRead, understand and explain various engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, diagrams of pneumatics and hydraulicsMaintain QMS ISO, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures and review safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance techniciansManaging a team, evaluating employees' progress, training new team members, attending meetings, identifying conflicts, and resolving problemsKey HSE ResponsibilitiesProvide OSH information, training and supervisionAssist with the preparation of risk assessmentsEnsure application of appropriate risk control measuresReporting of OSH hazards and incidentsQualifications and ExperienceExperience: 5–8 years in Mechanical Maintenance role, leading overhauls and working in Repair, maintaining the equipment with high quality and safetyEducation: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or in a relevant fieldSkills: Customer and Community Focused, Negotiation and Influence, Decision Making and Problem-Solving abilities; expertise in MRP/ERP systemsCommunication: Fluent in Arabic and EnglishPreferred: 5+ years of industry-specific experience in Equipment Maintenance related to High Safety Environment (i.e. Power Plants and Machines)#J-18808-Ljbffr
