Position descriptionJob Title: Mechanical Project Engineer M/FContract type: Fixed-term contractContractual hours: Full timeContract duration: 5 yearsJob descriptionThe Mechanical Engineer - Static & Package Equipment is responsible for the design, detailed engineering, and project management of static, package, and combustion equipment for Oil & Gas refineries, LNG plants, petrochemical facilities, fertilizer plants, power plants, and related onshore/offshore installations. The role requires strong technical knowledge, engineering expertise, and the ability to oversee projects from feasibility through execution.Engineering & Technical ActivitiesPerform design and detailed engineering of static and package equipment such as:Pressure vesselsHeat exchangersAPI tanksFired heatersBoilersHRSGsVarious packaged equipmentDevelop and review:Technical specificationsMechanical datasheetsMaterial requisitionsTechnical bid evaluations (TBE)Material handling reportsScope of work documentationExecute engineering deliverables for:Feasibility studiesPre-FEEDFEEDEPC projects (greenfield & brownfield)Project ManagementParticipate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.Prepare project execution plans, quality plans, and HSE plans.Ensure all engineering tasks are completed on schedule and within project requirements.ProfileBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Extensive experience in static and package equipment design and engineering. Strong background in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, LNG, and fertiliser industries. Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, TEMA, etc.). Experience in both onshore and offshore facilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in engineering software and tools. Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
