<div><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are seeking an experienced<b>Mechanical Engineer</b>to join the supervision consultancy team for a large-scale infrastructure development project located approximately<b>100 km north of Jeddah</b>. The selected candidate will assist the Resident Engineer in supervising mechanical and utility works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Supervise and monitor mechanical and utility construction works on site in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.</li><li>Assist the Resident Engineer (Mechanical) in overseeing mechanical infrastructure works.</li><li>Inspect and supervise installation of potable water supply networks.</li><li>Monitor works related to firefighting systems and associated infrastructure.</li><li>Supervise installation of gas distribution networks.</li><li>Monitor construction of stormwater drainage and sanitary sewage systems.</li><li>Supervise installation of irrigation systems and landscape-related mechanical works.</li><li>Ensure contractor compliance with approved method statements, drawings, and quality standards.</li><li>Review contractor submissions including shop drawings and material submittals.</li><li>Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure proper construction practices.</li><li>Assist in preparing inspection reports, site reports, and progress updates.</li><li>Identify and report technical issues, non-conformances, and delays to the Resident Engineer.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure construction or supervision projects.</li><li>Experience in utility infrastructure projects including potable water, firefighting, gas distribution, stormwater drainage, sanitary sewage, and irrigation systems.</li><li>Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms in a supervision capacity is preferred.</li><li>Good knowledge of construction supervision, inspection procedures, and quality control standards.</li><li>Strong coordination, inspection, and reporting skills.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
