Mechanical Engineer – Supervision

<div><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Daily supervision of mechanical works (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Medical Gas)</li><li>Review and approve Shop Drawings and ensure compliance with IFC design drawings.</li><li>Review and approve Material Submittals and ensure compliance with specifications and codes.</li><li>Monitor work progress and prepare daily and weekly reports on progress percentages and observations.</li><li>Conduct quality tests such as:<ul><li>Fire Fighting Testing (Hydrostatic Test, Flow Test)</li></ul></li><li>Coordinate with other disciplines (Electrical – Civil – Architectural) to avoid work conflicts.</li><li>Manage and guide technicians to ensure proper execution of works.</li><li>Review and verify quantities (BOQ Verification) and monitor actual completed works.</li><li>Follow up on safety works and ensure contractor compliance with HSE procedures.</li><li>Participate in site meetings and prepare technical meeting minutes.</li><li>Inspect completed works, prepare Snag Lists, and follow up on their closure.</li><li>Contribute to Commissioning activities and ensure system readiness for handover.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.</p><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>At least 10 years of experience in project supervision.</li><li>Strong knowledge of codes and standards such as:</li><li>Experience in reading drawings and using software.</li><li>Experience in contractor management and site supervision.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
