Job TitleMechanical EngineerLocationUnited Arab EmiratesAbout the RoleThe Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising mechanical works on construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role supports successful project execution across HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & Site SupervisionOversee installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting works.Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.Conduct site inspections and coordinate with subcontractors and site teams.Design Review & Technical SupportReview mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.Provide technical clarifications and resolve site-related mechanical issues.Coordinate with consultants, clients, and other engineering disciplines.Planning & CoordinationPrepare work schedules and coordinate activities to meet project milestones.Liaise with procurement teams for material requirements and delivery schedules.Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.Quality, Safety & DocumentationEnsure compliance with QA/QC procedures, safety standards, and local authority regulations.Prepare method statements, inspection requests, and progress reports.Maintain accurate site documentation and as-built records.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.3–7 years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction or MEP contracting.Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.Familiarity with UAE construction codes and authority approvals.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong technical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Effective communication and coordination skills.Team-oriented with leadership capability.Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.#J-18808-Ljbffr
