Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (Refrigeration Cabinets & Fixtures)Employment Type: Full-timeSalary: AED 5,000 - 6,000 per monthBenefits: Employment Visa, Medical insurance, Annual Flight Tickets, Annual LeavesJob SummaryWe are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in refrigeration cabinets, commercial display units, and metal/plastic fixtures. The role involves designing robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable products, supporting development from concept to mass production.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop refrigeration cabinets, visi coolers, and display fixtures.Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and assembly layouts using CAD tools (Inventor / AutoCAD).Develop and release engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.Work on sheet metal design, plastic parts, insulation structures (PUF), and glass door assemblies.Coordinate with suppliers for glass doors, compressors, cooling systems, and lighting (LED).Ensure proper integration of refrigeration components (evaporator, condenser, fan, thermostat).Optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and ease of assembly.Support prototype builds, testing, and validation (cooling performance, structural strength, durability).Work closely with production teams on fixture development, jigs, and tooling.Troubleshoot issues during production and field performance.Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.3–8 years of experience in: (Refrigeration products (visi coolers, deep freezers, bottle coolers), OR Display fixtures/sheet metal products manufacturing).Strong hands-on experience in sheet metal design and fabrication processes.Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD / Inventor or any other 3D design software).Knowledge of refrigeration system basics and thermal concepts.Understanding of manufacturing processes:Sheet metal bending, punching, and weldingPowder coating/surface finishingPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with PUF insulation and cabinet construction.Knowledge of FEA / thermal analysis tools.Experience with vendor development and localization.Exposure to assembly line setup and process improvement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
