As the global studio at the heart of Bloomberg Media Group, we develop creative solutions for brands that leverage Bloomberg’s mission, intelligence, and equity for Bloomberg’s core audiences.We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Editor to join the team. You'll be a proven creative leader who can work closely with clients to develop and present creative content solutions, help lead a creative team with high‑level video and design capabilities, leverage relationships to build creative partnerships in the Middle East and Africa, and create buzz in the region about Bloomberg Media Studios and our work for clients.The Executive Editor will help lead a creative studio that includes full‑time staff with design and video leads. The Executive Editor will augment that team with a talented and diverse group of freelancers and vendors that can contribute to ideation as well as execution of projects. The Middle East & Africa Studio will serve many different markets, and the Executive Editor is responsible for developing relationships with on‑the‑ground talent in each and every market.The Executive Editor ensures that Bloomberg Media Studios content solutions fulfills our brand position of thought leadership powered by proprietary data. The Middle East & Africa Executive Editor connects regularly with the Global Creative Head and the Global Executive Editor to share best practices and ensure that Bloomberg Media Studios maintains a consistent global voice while understanding the unique qualities of the Middle East & Africa region.The Executive Editor will also have strong relationships with sales, strategy and data science leadership and will work collaboratively with these teams in client presentations and developing new business.We are passionate about developing innovative ideas and committed to working for a company that places purpose at the center of its business, and understands that creativity depends on a healthy, balanced, and supportive work environment.We’ll Trust You ToPartner with key stakeholders to build a world‑class creative studio in Dubai that will increase Bloomberg Media Studios’ presence in the MEA region and create buzz around our creative work on behalf of clients.Generate innovative ideas across all existing and emerging platforms and inspire colleagues to create world‑class, pioneering work and content.Demonstrate deep knowledge of the MEA region, as well as a sound understanding of the energy, finance and technology themes and issues important to our clients and our audience.Be a proven creative innovator in terms of applying new technologies like AI to elevate work and improve efficiency.Manage the work but also be equally comfortable in taking a hands‑on approach.Develop data‑ and insight‑driven concepts and be part of the creative process from sales strategy to concepts to execution.Autonomously own a large project from kickoff to completion, often balancing multiple projects at once.Oversee and provide thought leadership in the assessment of existing properties for content value, relevance, aesthetics, branding and overall experience.Collaborate with cross‑functional team on implementation feasibility to ensure conceptual ideas are realizable.Build confidence with clients through compelling presentation of content ideas. Independent thinking and effective oral and written presentation skills are required.Establish key creative partnerships in the region to produce the highest quality work.You’ll Need To Have8‑10 years of conceptually driven copyrighting (with strong video storytelling).Creative or content/publisher/agency/consultancy experience at management level.Knowledge of Middle East & Africa business landscape and experience working with clients and vendors in the region.Great presentation and time management skills.Strong editorial judgment.Proven skills in presenting, client partnership and visual communication.Knowledge of the capabilities of modern web technologies and desire to stay at the forefront as new technologies emerge.Broad knowledge of social media, digital communications and the use of AI in media.Advanced knowledge of video, brand development, digital marketing and the creative process.Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely, helpful feedback to improve creative processes and to keep work on budget and schedule.If This Sounds Like YouApply if you think we're a good match.
