This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to become confident problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality Mathematics teaching aligned to the IB (MYP/DP) and/or American curriculumPlan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of diverse learnersUse a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress and inform teachingFoster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and personal growthContribute to curriculum development and collaborative planning within the Mathematics departmentMaintain accurate student records and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parentsParticipate fully in school life, including enrichment activities, meetings, and professional developmentUphold safeguarding, wellbeing, and child-protection standards at all timesSkills and QualificationsA Bachelor of Education (BEd) or a subject-related degree in Mathematics plus a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, PGDE, state teaching license, or equivalent)Proven experience teaching IB and/or American curriculum Mathematics (MYP, DP, AP, or equivalent)Strong classroom management and a student-centred teaching approachExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a teamA commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practiceFor roles based in Abu Dhabi, candidates must also meet the approval requirements set by ADEK.Additional InformationInterviews will be held face-to-face, where possible, or virtually on Zoom, as suitable candidates apply.
