This role involves diagnosing and managing complications during pregnancy, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing individualized care plans. The consultant collaborates with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal maternal and fetal health outcomes. Additionally, the position includes educating patients and their families about pregnancy-related issues, as well as participating in research and training initiatives to advance the field of maternal-fetal medicine. Strong communication, clinical expertise, and compassion are essential for success in this role.</p><p><strong>MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Provides high-quality<strong>maternal fetal medicine</strong>care to patients in this area of medicine.</li><li>Provide consultative service as requested.</li><li>Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.</li><li>Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.</li><li>Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.</li><li>Performs special procedures as privileged.</li><li>Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li>Graduate from a medical school of good standing.</li><li>Completion of required period of training in maternal fetal medicine (MFM).</li><li>American Board/FRCS Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/Diplome dEtudes Specialises (DES)/CIS French Board / Facharzt&Sub-Board</li><li>Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required</li><li>A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.</li><li>Dataflow is a must.</li></ul><p><strong>Professional Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in Feto-maternal.</li><li>A registered member of the Saudi Board Council</li></ul><p><strong>Language</strong></p><ul><li>Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.</li></ul><p><strong>References</strong></p><ul><li>Positive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
