Material Handler

OverviewMaterial Handling SupervisorAs a Material Handling Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within our warehouse in Sharjah, UAE. You will lead a team of material handlers and ensure that all materials are received, stored, and shipped efficiently and accurately.ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate material handling operations including receiving, storing, and shipping of materialsSupervise a team of material handlers and provide guidance and training as neededEnsure all materials are handled safely and stored in the appropriate locations within the warehouseMonitor inventory levels and work with purchasing department to order materials as neededImplement efficient processes to improve material handling operationsCollaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials to production linesMaintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materialsConduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe and proper functioningEnforce safety regulations and procedures for all material handling tasksQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in supply chain management is preferredMinimum 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a teamKnowledge of proper material handling techniques and equipment operationFamiliarity with inventory management systems is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in basic computer skills such as data entry and email communicationPhysical RequirementsThis position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance, and operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
