Mason Technician

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Carry out all tiles grouting and blocking and other assigned civil works duties within the complexCarry out preventive maintenance schedules for masonry jobs as directed by SuperiorsRepair, maintain and alter buildings retaining walls and other brick or stone edificesMix mortar, lay bricks and stones or concrete sidewalks and make and repair stepsPatch and replace brick or stonework chimneysInstall and repair tile floors or wallsRead blueprints and plaster ceilings or wallsEstimate masonry jobs and carry out carpentry work incidental to masonry workExecutes all plumbing and associated work to the highest professional standards for the whole complexPerforms the tasks assigned to him and ensures their implementation while working independentlyActs on issues and concerns in his activity field immediatelyMust be able to control the stocks and other items in his workshop and order more as requiredAbides to the daily task and ensures timely implementationChecks extra needs of a guestEnsures oneself is thoroughly familiar with the hotel’s emergency procedures and is prepared for any emergency that may occurIs familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibilityOther duties as assignedAssist in Task Force Teams for new openingsCarry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requestedQualifications:Education: Diploma / Certificate in MasonryExperience: Minimum 3 years in a similar roleOther: Should be able to communicate well in EnglishAdditional Information :Your team and working environment:Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is a unique resort; where exclusivity and luxury define every experience every time.
