ResponsibilitiesMovements all marine units (vessels & barges).Vessels control and follow up operations.Vessels status / Readiness for sailing.Liaise with vessels captain 24/7Liaise with projects managers in order to meet their requirements and demandLiaise with crewing department for vessels recruitment requirementsMonitoring vessels time sheet (ON/OFF HIRE) for the chartered vesselsIssuing vessels allocation ship at end of every monthIssuing time sheet FOR NMDC charter vessels To be invoiced to the charterIssuing activity sheet for logistics projectsCollecting and processing voyage documents and arranging fuelling and watering of unitsResponsible for providing the units with the required marine and salon consumablesEnsure that safety of the units and crew are properly maintainedAppointing cargo, bunkering & towing approval surveyorsPreparing the units for surveys required by the administrations and classesReview masters reports and completion of bridge and chief officer's logbooks and issue the necessary recommendationEnsuring that the vessel's masters are keeping documents, certificates files and drawings which are required to the vesselsResponsible for purchasing the navigation publication and charts necessary for subsidiary VesselsTimely raising of Purchase Requisitions related to contracts in accordance with the Contract Purchasing ProcedureRequirementsA well-established and proven track record in Marine field in a shipboard senior post (to be determined at the time of employment).#J-18808-Ljbffr
