You operate like the steady current beneath a vessel, quietly keeping everything running smoothly.DescriptionThis is the central operational link between vessels, crew, and shore-based departments. This role is fully focused on marine operations and requires hands‑on coordination of vessel matters, crew logistics, safety, compliance follow‑up, and cross‑functional communication to ensure uninterrupted fleet performance.This is a high‑responsibility role requiring maturity, urgency, and strong decision‑making in a fast‑paced maritime environment.Role & Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational vessel mattersCoordinate communication between vessels, crew, and internal departmentsOversee full crew logistics including travel arrangements, transfers, medical appointments, and essential provisionsRespond promptly to crew‑related emergenciesMonitor compliance with international and local maritime regulationsTrack and ensure timely renewal of crew certifications, vessel documentation, and insurance policiesFollow up on annual dry‑dock schedules and required inspectionsAct as a central liaison between accounts, technical, purchasing, and operations teamsAdapt communication style to effectively engage with stakeholders across different regions, including West Africa and EuropeAnticipate operational risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain uninterrupted vessel performanceSkills & Competencies:Strong vessel operations and coordination expertise, knowledge of international maritime regulationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAdvanced organizational, time management, and workflow leadership abilitiesManage crew logistics and respond to emergencies efficientlyProactive, adaptable, solutions‑focused mindset8+ years’ experience, including 5 in the UAE in a similar roleHolds Chief Officer or Master Mariner CertificateFluent in Arabic and English; willing to travel occasionallyEducation & Qualifications:Degree qualification in Maritime Operations, Marine Engineering, or related fieldPractical marine operations experience in tanker operations, including chemical tankersOffice‑based operations experience coordinating across vessels and departments#J-18808-Ljbffr
