Support financial planning and budgeting for the manufacturing site, aligning with company goals. Maintain high quality standards and regulatory compliance to meet customer expectations. Optimize the use of resources such as equipment and workforce to handle changing production demands. Promote Lean and Operational Excellence practices to solve operational challenges. Manage talent through succession planning, performance reviews, and career development. Lead digital transformation efforts like Industry 4.0 to improve factory efficiency and transparency. Oversee engineering teams focused on equipment, process improvements, and maintenance across locations. Develop long-term engineering strategies, resource planning, and training programs. Help design and implement operational strategies to improve overall performance. Make decisions on whether to produce in-house, outsource, or buy from external suppliers based on cost and quality. Plan sourcing strategies for tools and equipment needed for production. Use project management skills to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects. Provide advice on complex technical and financial challenges, working closely with finance teams. Lead projects to improve product manufacturability and apply lean manufacturing principles. Manage capital investments and monitor budgets for the engineering department. Ensure all processes follow company policies and meet efficiency and quality standards.
