Job Description

Job PurposeThe Threat Intelligence Manager is an integral part of the Threat Intelligence Center. As the Threat Intelligence Manager, you will be leading a team of highly skilled Cyber Threat Intelligence Analysts to ensure that cyber threat intelligence is properly collected, analyzed, and disseminated. You will be a natural leader with drive and ambition to ensure intelligence operations are delivered efficiently and effectively.Job ResponsibilitiesLead a team of threat intelligence analysts to collect, analyze, and distribute relevant and actionable threat intelligence to clients.Ensure quality and timeliness of the team’s reports, briefs, presentations, findings and recommendations, including executive-level threat reporting.Measure and report on CTI value and customer satisfaction.Develop, manage, optimize, and continuously improve processes to enhance the overall cyber threat intelligence function.Contribute to key projects and lead practical initiatives.Prepare intelligence products, including high‑quality reports, assessments, briefings, recommendations, and findings.Establish and maintain relationships with public and private intelligence community members.Interface with clients and SOC personnel to ensure timely, relevant, and actionable threat intelligence is communicated; provide high-quality service.Serve as point of contact for internal Threat Intelligence requests and external clients for threat intelligence reach‑back tasks.Apply exceptional problem‑solving skills to identify appropriate options and adapt or improve existing approaches, resolving varied and non-routine issues.Perform any other responsibilities as required by the Line Manager.Key Focus AreasAll responsibilities above contribute to the overall leadership and delivery of threat intelligence operations.Capabilities and SkillsAbility to work well with others in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.Previous experience leading cost-effective, high-value threat intelligence teams.Experience in analyzing, gathering intelligence on, developing, and documenting threat group activities.In-depth knowledge and understanding of technology, emerging trends, adversary techniques, vulnerabilities, exploits, and current affairs.In‑depth understanding of cyber‑attack vectors, detection techniques, cybercrime networks, and methodologies.Demonstrated understanding of remediation and countermeasures for addressing information security threats.Knowledge of security analysis techniques and ability to monitor and enforce improvements when necessary, in line with best practices.Experience briefing executive management including C‑level on cyber incidents, metrics, and trends.Strong working understanding of threat intel platforms.Experience working in large-scale security operations, especially in large corporations, military, or government organizations.Minimum Working Experience10+ years’ experience working in a Cyber Threat Intelligence, incident response, cyber‑hunt, or other technical information security positions.Leadership/Supervisory Experience5+ years of demonstrable management experience within Cyber Threat Intelligence.Experience in training and providing mentorship to team members.Performance management and the ability to conduct performance evaluations.Education and CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.CISSP, CISM, or similar Information Security certification is preferred.Desired: Malware analysis or threat intelligence related certification such as GCIH, GREM, GCTI, etc.Operating System knowledge: Windows, Linux/Unix, and Mac/OSX.Programming/scripting: Shell, Python, R, etc.Big Data Analysis experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
