ResponsibilitiesPartnering with senior consultants, this position is responsible for brainstorming and determining the analytic approach and appropriate project plan for prospects and clients.Leads clients in resolving data issues that have arisen during review of submitted client data.Serves as the day to day technical contact to address issues or discrepancies with data.Acts as an expert advisor in the design of data structures using SAS (Statistical Analysis Software) programming. Data structures are a way of organizing data so that the information is more efficiently used for statistical analysis by more senior consultants. Designing data structures includes making decisions about the appropriate SAS coding to utilize.Performs advanced statistical analysis, including regression modeling and additional statistical tests using SAS.Independently develops customized client reports based on outcomes of statistical analysis. Additionally, creates new slide templates and SAS code to produce displays for client reports.Indirect management of junior staff including peer review and oversight of data structures being built by junior analysts.Leads the design of new tools/protocols for future use by annotating and generalizing SAS code so that it can be leveraged in other projects.Company OverviewMercer is a business of Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), a global leader in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting, advising clients in 130 countries.
