MANAGER – OIL & PETROLEUM TRADING-UAE

A leading name in Oil & Petroleum trading is looking to hire a Manager for their office in Dubai.Job ResponsibilitiesAchieve the organization’s financial objectives through Trading.Identify trading opportunities in the assigned categories and create commensurate trading strategies in the physical and futures markets. Use arbitrage, cross-commodity spreads, calendar spreads, and other opportunities available in the market.Manage the trading strategies approved by the management under policy guidelines.Achieve P&L objectives set by management through trading.Follow price trends and market information to generate trading opportunities.Follow group guidelines on Risk Management and report daily positions, MTM & counterparty exposures.Share market insight with other group traders & supply chain buyers to enhance market knowledge across the trading desk.Work with the speed in the highly challenging and volatile market to capture short-term trading opportunities.Work experience: 10-15 years of experience in a large commodity trading house handling assigned categories of trading.QualificationGraduate with a tertiary qualification in Economics/Business/Agronomics Competencies Global Markets and Commodities Business Trends Hedging Business Acumen Financial Acumen Self and Team Management Planning & Decision-Making Strategic Thinking Change Management Ownership & Result OrientationStrong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skillsOther BenefitsVisa, Insurance, Family Visa, Accommodation, Car etc.#J-18808-Ljbffr
