Job Description As a Manager of IT Cloud Engineering for the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform, your role will involve a combination of hands-on cloud engineering, team leadership, and strategic oversight. You will play a crucial part in guiding the technical direction of IDP initiatives, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, production-grade solutions that support automated document workflows and advanced data extraction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering and delivery of cloud-native IDP solutions using AWS and third-party platforms.
- Manage a team of engineers and collaborate with architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align IDP capabilities with enterprise goals.
- Oversee the development and optimization of automated workflows for document ingestion, classification, extraction, and validation.
- Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, and infrastructure resilience across the IDP platform.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and fault-tolerant mechanisms to ensure platform reliability.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, S3, Step Functions, ECS, and IAM.
- Programming experience in .NET and Python for backend services.
- Familiarity with OCR/NLP technologies and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.
Nice to Have:
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps).
- Experience with GenAI-powered IDP platforms.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Tableau, and relational databases such as SQL Server/PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Rally.
