Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.About the Position:Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking Manager – Hotel Accounting to join the resort’s Finance team.The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:Oversee day-to-day operations of the hotel accounting departmentEnsure the accuracy and timely submission of daily operation report and monthly closing reportParticipate in reviewing and preparing accounts reconciliationCoordinate with other departments and handle queries related to Hotel AccountingAssume duties assigned by the Hotel Accounting - Assistant Director and other senior Finance LeadershipOversee training and supervision of Hotel Accounting Team MembersDelegate specific tasks to Team MembersCoach, motivate, counsel and evaluate staff and encourage their participation in decision‑makingMaintain effective communication with all team members by providing written and verbal translationsEnsure that the subordinates are well‑mannered and groomed as per company standard at all timesPromote a work environment where team members feel valued, appreciated, involved, equally important and safeAttend regular briefing and scheduled inter‑departmental meetings to ensure relevant information is sharedInteract with department and company team members, management, and contractors professionally and positivelyAttend department and inter‑department meetings and share relevant informationEncourage good relationships, promote team spirit, and ensure effective two‑way and multicultural communicationsAdhere to the company policies and procedures and comply with the Code of ConductBachelor’s degree or above majoring in accountingOver 5 years experiences related field in Hotel industry in Supervisory level or Manager level.Proficiency in MS OfficeAble to work independentlyDetail oriented and able to handle multiple tasksGood communication and supervisory skillsAbout You:The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or above majoring in accountingOver 5 years experiences related field in Hotel industry in Supervisory level or Manager level.Proficiency in MS OfficeAble to work independentlyDetail oriented and able to handle multiple tasksWe offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
