Job DescriptionMasdar is seeking a Manager of Health, Safety, Social & Environment (HSSE) who will oversee all HSSE matters for projects, drive compliance with standards, and lead a dedicated HSSE team.Responsible for all HSSE matters of the project.Ensure that all project activities meet Masdar HSSE requirements and maintain thorough documentation.Coordinate a team to implement the Health, Safety, Social Management System.Mentor project team members to comply with HSSE requirements, protecting health and safety, respecting the environment, and maintaining social responsibility.QualificationsDegree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, or related discipline.Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.IOSH Certification.Membership in a recognized international HSSE organization is an advantage.Experience with solar projects and battery storage systems.At least 10 years of HSE management experience in a large organization, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role in renewable energy projects.At least 1 year managing international E&S requirements of IFC, EBRD, ADB at a construction site.Strong knowledge of UAE local rules, regulations, systems, and processes related to sustainability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
