Because whenever you join however long you stay the exceptional EY experience lasts a lifetime.The opportunityThis opportunity is within our Data & AI team focusing on AI Engineering and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions.As an AI Engineering Manager you will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative scalable AI solutions that support our clients' financial and operational decision-making. You will oversee the development and deployment of intelligent systems using modern AI tools including large language models (LLMs) GenAI platforms and cloud-native services. Your leadership will ensure that AI-driven solutions are designed responsibly and generate measurable value for our clients.This role will be based in Dubai and center of excellence in Jordan and Egypt with remote support for MENA client engagements. Travel may be required based on project needs.You will also play a key role in growing our AI offerings mentoring junior professionals and shaping strategic AI transformation initiatives in collaboration with Directors and Partners.Your key responsibilitiesAs a manager you will be expected to lead the design, development and deployment of AI and GenAI solutions across diverse industries while managing project teams delivering AI use cases, ensuring solutions meet business requirements, are production-ready and comply with governance standards. You will work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities for AI implementation. You will also collaborate with data engineers, architects and business consultants to integrate AI models into broader enterprise ecosystems.Moreover you will be responsible to guide the adoption of LLM and GenAI technologies (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Azure OpenAI, HuggingFace) driving innovation in areas such as financial document analysis, reporting automation and virtual assistants and ensure AI solutions are scalable, ethical, explainable and aligned with clients compliance needs.You shall provide support proposal development and business development initiatives across MENA and stay current with evolving AI trends, frameworks and tools helping shape EY's AI capabilities and offerings.Skills and attributes for successProven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex AI-enabled projectsExcellent communication skills and ability to work across business and technical domainsEntrepreneurial mindset and willingness to drive innovation in ambiguous environmentsPassion for emerging technologies, experimentation and continuous learningStrong organizational and project management skillsQualificationsA bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related)Solid hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions using Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learnFamiliarity with GenAI tools such as OpenAI, LangChain, HuggingFace, Transformers or enterprise GenAI platforms (e.g. Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock)Practical experience integrating LLMs and GenAI into workflows such as document summarization, search, code generation or chatbotsProficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for deploying ML solutionsExperience managing the full AI lifecycle: data prep, model training, validation, MLOps and post-deployment monitoringA strong understanding of ethical AI, data privacy and responsible AI practicesFlexibility and willingness to travel as requiredIdeally you’ll also haveConsulting experience with a top-tier firmDomain knowledge in sectors such as Government, Healthcare, Financial Services, Telecom or RetailExperience with data architecture patterns including data mesh, data fabric or hybrid data strategiesProficiency in Arabic is a plusWhat we look forWe are looking for forward-thinking leaders who are passionate about using AI and GenAI to transform the way businesses operate.
