Manager Civil Construction

Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Construction Manager for a Marine Supervision Project to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this critical role you will oversee complex marine construction projects ensuring they are completed safely on time and within budget while adhering to local and international standards.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage marine construction projects from inception to completionDevelop and implement project plans schedules and budgetsCoordinate with various stakeholders including clients contractors and regulatory bodiesEnsure compliance with safety regulations environmental standards and quality control measuresOversee the procurement of materials equipment and services for marine projectsAnalyze and mitigate risks associated with marine construction activitiesConduct regular site inspections and progress meetingsManage and mentor a team of engineers supervisors and contractorsPrepare and present comprehensive project reports to senior managementStay updated on the latest marine construction technologies and methodologiesQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering Marine Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferredMinimum 15 years of experience in delivering at least 1 marine projectProven track record of successfully delivering complex marine construction projectsStrong knowledge of marine construction techniques coastal engineering principles and relevant regulationsProficiency in project management software and AutoCAD; knowledge of 3D modeling software is a plusExcellent leadership communication and problem-solving skillsSafety management certification (e.g. OSHA)Experience with offshore construction projects is highly desirableKnowledge of UAE construction regulations and standardsFamiliarity with local construction practices and regulations in the UAEAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
