Manager - Audit & Assurance

As a Manager - Audit & Assurance at Alkazim, you will independently manage a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements while leading and developing the audit team. You will be responsible for planning, executing and completing assignments across a range of industries, ensuring quality delivery, regulatory compliance and strong client relationships.This role is designed to take ownership of day-to-day engagement management, allowing Partners to focus on strategic oversight and final sign‑off. It is suited to a commercially minded audit professional who thrives in a growing SME firm environment and is seeking a clear path toward Director and Partner.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a portfolio of audit and assurance clientsPlan and execute statutory auditsReview working papers and ensure audit files are complete prior to Partner reviewIdentify engagement risks and ensure appropriate audit procedures are performedManage timelines, budgets and resource allocation across multiple assignmentsSupervise and mentor audit associates and seniorsAct as primary point of contact for clients and manage expectationsResolve routine technical matters and elevate complex issues when requiredIdentify opportunities for upselling and contribute to business development initiativesEnsure compliance with International Standards on Auditing and UAE regulatory requirementsSupport continuous improvement of audit methodology and internal processesQualifications And RequirementsACCA qualified or equivalent professional qualificationMinimum 5–7 years of audit experienceProven experience managing audit engagements independentlyStrong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on AuditingExperience with UAE mainland and free zone auditsPrior exposure to escrow, service charge or similar assurance assignments preferredDemonstrated ability to lead and develop junior team membersCommercial mindset with strong client management skillsAbility to manage engagements in a fast‑paced environmentWhat We OfferLeadership role within a growing Audit & Assurance practiceDirect exposure to Partners and strategic decision‑makingClear progression path toward Director#J-18808-Ljbffr
