<div><h3>Maintenance Tech Supervisor - Environment</h3><p>Trending</p><p><b>Role Purpose</b></p><p>To supervise and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules of Electro-Mechanical systems and Civil installations in order to ensure that the work is delivered on time, meets specifications within the set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p><b>Key Accountability Areas</b></p><p><b>Key Activities</b></p><p>Planning and Budgeting</p><ul><li>Supervise the execution of the department’s objectives, initiatives, plans, policies and procedures.</li><li>Support in developing the annual budget, including Financial and Human Resources requirements.</li></ul><p>Environmental System Maintenance Management</p><ul><li>Develop periodic work schedule, outlining priorities and upcoming deadlines and ensure that they are communicated to Maintenance Technicians and respected.</li><li>Oversee the execution and implementation of the various environmental operations.</li><li>Lead the Environmental Technicians and ensure that they are performing their responsibilities as expected.</li><li>Provide guidance and technical expertise within non-CNS systems to support all areas of maintenance work.</li><li>Actively participate in preparation to all kinds of environment maintenance task related to SANS-CNS facilities.</li><li>Perform required preventive maintenance for Electrical, Mechanical or Civil installations.</li><li>Conduct routine quality checks to ensure safety, health and operational standards are met for environment maintenance activities.</li></ul><p>Documentation and Reporting</p><ul><li>Regularly keep track of changes made in policies and procedures in current and future systems and ensure they are properly reflected and implemented within the factories section.</li><li>Develop periodic reports that highlight the successes and failures specific to the manufacture guide of each system.</li></ul><p>Standards&Compliance Management</p><ul><li>Ensure that all devices and tools required for maintenance operations are available and properly functioning, and any shortages are addressed timely.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant SQE procedures and controls to ensure employee health and safety, regulatory compliance, delivery of high-quality service and environmentally friendly behaviors.</li><li>Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement.</li></ul><p>Policies, Processes and Procedures</p><ul><li>Support in monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures.</li><li>Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement.</li></ul><p>People Management</p><ul><li>Conduct annual performance appraisal of direct subordinates to monitor their work performance and identify their training and developmental requirements.</li><li>Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring and coaching of subordinates</li><li>Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><b>Knowledge and Experience</b></p><ul><li>Minimum of 6 years of experience in Electromechanical systems management/maintenance</li></ul><p><b>Education and Certifications</b></p><ul><li>A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
