Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day maintenance activities of the organization. This role ensures that facilities, equipment, and systems are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. The supervisor will lead a team of technicians and maintenance staff, assign tasks, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, plan, and coordinate daily maintenance operations across facilities and equipment.Assign tasks and monitor the performance of maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as required.Inspect buildings, systems, and equipment to identify issues and schedule timely repairs.Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and repair histories.Liaise with contractors, vendors, and external service providers when specialized repairs are required.Monitor and control maintenance budgets, tools, and spare parts inventory.Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions.Prepare reports on maintenance performance, completed work, and improvement recommendations.ExperienceProven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar role.Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc.).Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Good communication and organizational skills.Proficiency in using maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of 4–6 years of maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Leadership & team coordinationTechnical knowledge in general maintenanceAttention to detail and safety complianceTU Holdings Group is a leading conglomerate committed to excellence, innovation, and sustainability that spans diverse sectors.
