Maintenance Supervisor

<div><h3>Position Overview</h3><p>The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all electrical maintenance activities onboard a jack‑up rig. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of power generation, distribution, and electrical control systems while leading a team of technicians and ensuring compliance with offshore safety standards.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Supervise maintenance of power generation systems (diesel generators, alternators).</li><li>Oversee high- and low-voltage distribution systems.</li><li>Ensure reliable operation of Switchboards and MCCs, Transformers and UPS systems, Lighting and emergency power systems.</li><li>Lead and coordinate a team of electricians and E&I technicians.</li><li>Plan daily and preventive maintenance activities.</li><li>Allocate manpower and resources efficiently.</li><li>Mentor and train junior personnel.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults.</li><li>Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures.</li><li>Implement corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Develop and manage planned maintenance system (PMS) schedules.</li><li>Ensure accurate records in CMMS (e.g., SAP, AMOS, Maximo).</li><li>Monitor equipment performance and downtime trends.</li><li>Oversee electrical systems for Top drive, Draw works, Mud pumps, Jacking system, BOP control systems.</li><li>Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.</li><li>Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical isolation procedures.</li><li>Maintain hazardous area (Ex) equipment integrity (ATEX/IECEx).</li><li>Participate in safety drills, audits, and risk assessments.</li><li>Prepare maintenance reports and shift handovers.</li><li>Maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals.</li><li>Coordinate with onshore support and OEMs.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Diploma or Degree in Electrical&Electronics Engineering.</li><li>Experience of 5+ years on offshore jack‑up rigs.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Power generation and distribution systems, HV/LV switching and protection systems, PLCs and automation interfaces.</li><li>Ability to read single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and P&IDs.</li><li>Leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Familiarity with OEM equipment (e.g., Caterpillar, ABB, Siemens).</li><li>Strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety&Environment) standards.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li></ul><p>We are seeking an experienced<b>Maintenance Supervisor</b>to join our client's<b>Jackup rig</b>which is currently in the UAE and will later move to Brazil.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
