Maintenance Manager

Epic Piping is an equal opportunity employer committed to employee development and a collaborative work environment.What You’ll DoComply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies and regulations and ensure personnel also comply with safety guidelines and policies.Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery.Estimate repair costs.Inspect drives, motors, belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions following checklists.Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical/electronic testing devices.Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work.Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams.Order parts, supplies, and equipment from catalogs and suppliers, or obtain them from storerooms.Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other parts of building structures.Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.Align and balance new equipment after installation.Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using measurement tools.Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment.Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.CompetenciesAccountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for actions.Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively.Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.Decision Making - Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.Diversity Oriented - Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.Honesty / Integrity - Truthful and credible in the workplace.Initiative - Ability to take actions to solve problems or reach goals.Management Skills - Ability to organize and supervise others.Reliability - Dependable and trustworthy.What You’ll NeedEducation: High School Graduate or GED preferred; in lieu of education – 10+ years’ experienceExperience: 5+ years’ experienceComputer Skills: Microsoft OfficeCertifications & Licenses: None specifically requiredWhat We OfferInternational assignment packageIndustry-leading training and development programsCompetitive insurance and benefit optionsPaid vacation and holidaysCareer growth opportunities through hands-on training and mentorshipWork alongside industry leaders and mentorsAdditional training to excel and advance in your roleCoaching from experienced leaders focused on your growthOpportunities to take on new challenges and responsibilitiesA supportive, collaborative work environment that encourages idea-sharingWho We AreEpic Piping is among the largest privately owned pipe fabrication firms globally and a leader in serving the chemical, power, refining, offshore, and oil & gas industries.We are committed to equal opportunity and to creating an environment that supports personal training and development.We believe investing in our employees is essential to success.
