At PepsiCo we create a Space to be y( )u.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>The basic job of process operator is to run the process line and equipment’s systematically and effectively. Achieving the production targets by increasing line efficiency and minimizing process waste. Gather hourly data of process control checks, conduct quality wall meetings, maintain hygiene and housekeeping. Alert on food safety hazards and highlight issues to Direct Managers immediately.</p><ul><li>Summarize the daily material usage and calculate basic material efficiency, seasoning efficiency, and oil efficiency in daily summary reports.</li><li>Monitor and minimize energy usage such as water, electricity and gas.</li><li>Manage the process workers assigned to stations and maintain good manufacturing practice at all times within the area.</li><li>Operate, control and maintain processing equipment to convert raw materials into final product in accordance with the KPIs.</li><li>Make decisions based on the best possible utilisation to achieve maximum yield conversion.</li><li>Be able to repair and maintain necessary processing equipment to maintain line efficiency.</li><li>Have the authority to stop the production process in consultation with the Laboratory Technician if the production is out of specification.</li><li>Perform and report hourly process control checks.</li><li>Conduct quality wall meetings at required intervals.</li><li>Ensure raw materials are available for production runs near the line.</li><li>Ensure equipment is hygienically maintained and in good working condition.</li><li>Achieve the line efficiency targets set by the business.</li><li>Highlight daily issues to Direct Managers.</li><li>Collect and report material wastages, summarise material usage daily and calculate material efficiency.</li><li>Inform Engineering for equipment maintenance or repair through MP2.</li><li>Manage process workers including break times, cleaning during flavour changes, time in and time out.</li><li>Maintain line or workstation in good condition at all times by conducting a proper running patrol (checklist).</li><li>Report health hazards to the immediate Direct Manager.</li><li>Ensure quality products are being produced at all times.</li><li>Communicate daily issues and activities to other shifts.</li><li>Emphasise teamwork and cooperation.</li><li>Support IPS audits and Food safety audits.</li><li>Effective utilisation of energy such as water, gas, electricity etc.</li><li>Implement, sustain and participate in continual improvement of the EHS Management System (MS) at the area of responsibility in accordance with legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS and relevant EHS standards, ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities/areas and achieving EHS targets.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><h3>Knowledge/Skill</h3><ul><li>At least graduate from an industrial training institute (ITI).</li><li>Basic communication skills.</li><li>Good working attitude.</li><li>Able to handle and operate process equipment independently.</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>Minimum of two years working experience in a manufacturing processing environment; this will be waived in lieu of tertiary background.</li></ul><h3>Competencies</h3><ul><li>Motivational Fit</li><li>Teamwork</li><li>Communication</li><li>Continuous Improvement</li><li>Results Focus</li><li>Technical Knowledge</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
