Job ID: 3203176 | Q-Express Documents TransportTo help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor, to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.ResponsibilitiesDeputize for the Operations Manager and step in on their behalf where necessary to support daily operational duties.Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station; supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to ensure shipments meet or exceed KPIs.Monitor coordinator and associate performance and coach them; partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations; communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise quality of deliverables.Interview candidates for associate roles.Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates; ensure administrative tasks are accurately completed; measure and monitor workflows and daily metrics; assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending and reporting on site performance.Help train and mentor new associates; provide knowledge needed to successfully carry out tasks; follow up on and resolve process-related issues as required.Be flexible to work in different shifts and to do overtime when needed.With the Operations Manager, resource the function, including training needs, absence and performance management, coaching and continuous monitoring of productivity.Basic QualificationsExperience managing teamsExperience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvementPreferred QualificationsExperience in logisticsExperience with data analysisOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
