Logistics Supervisor, AMZL

To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor, to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.ResponsibilitiesSupport the overall daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager as needed.Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to ensure every shipment is delivered meeting and exceeding operational KPIs.Monitor coordinator and associate performance, coach them as needed, and partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise the quality bar on their deliverables.Interview candidates for associate roles.Brief and monitor workload of all drivers and associates, ensuring accurate completion of administrative tasks.Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics, assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending and reporting on site performance regularly.Help with training and mentoring new associates, ensuring they receive necessary knowledge.Follow up on and resolve process‑related issues as required.Be flexible to work in different shifts and do overtime when needed.Work with the Operations Manager to ressource the function: training needs, absence and performance management, coaching and continuous monitoring of department productivity.Basic QualificationsExperience managing teams.Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.Preferred QualificationsExperience in logistics.Experience with data analysis.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
