The ideal candidate is detail-oriented proactive and thrives in a fast-paced regulated environmentAbout This Role:Plan execute and track all inbound and outbound shipmentsManage delivery timelines and proactively flag any delaysEnsure packaging meets compliance for fragile and sensitive hardwareMaintain shipment logs documentation records and cost reportsCoordinate closely with procurement and production on shipment schedulingHandle discrepancy resolution and insurance claims (where relevant)Interface with customs brokers and logistics providers for timely clearancePrepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance for export/importMust Haves:5 years of logistics experience in aerospace defense or high-value hardwareExpert-level knowledge of shipping documentation and IncotermsHands-on experience with customs regulations in UAE Europe and the USFamiliarity with freight classification HTS codes CoO dual-use or export controlDetail-oriented safety-focused proactive communicator with strong discipline and willingness to learnStrong stakeholder and vendor coordination skillsNice to Haves:Understanding of ITAR EAR or UAE export control equivalentsFamiliarity with space industry logistics or similar regulated goodsExposure to ERP systems like NetSuite for ASN or shipping coordinationAbility to evaluate and improve freight vendor performanceFamiliarity with UAE warehouse regulatory normsOrbitworks mission is to make space simple for organizations that want to deploy physical and virtual missions to space.
