Logistics Manager

Job OverviewAs a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods and services to our customers. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in operations, transportation, and inventory management to drive continuous improvement and deliver exceptional results.ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire supply chain operations, from sourcing and procurement to inventory management and deliveryStrategize and implement supply chain processes and practices to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performanceCollaborate with sales and operations teams to develop effective transportation strategiesMonitor and analyze transportation costs and negotiate rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective delivery of goodsManage and develop vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and servicesConduct regular audits and evaluations of supply chain processes to identify areas for improvementEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding transportation and logisticsDevelop and maintain KPIs to track and measure supply chain performanceProvide guidance and support to our warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory levels and smooth operationsPrepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior managementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the transportation or logistics industryStrong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reportingProven track record of optimizing supply chain processes and reducing costsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsExperience with inventory management systems and softwareAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team membersFamiliarity with local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulationsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteJoin the Indusland Logistics team, and take your logistics career to the next level!
